Team building activities are very essential in today’s life. There are several team building exercises for work which you can practice them every day. Team building activities for students are essential because they learn to coordinate with their peers in a proper way. Today every industry expects its employees to be coordinating in a team. The productivity will be high if the employees work in team. Hence the team building activities for students need to be taught at an early stage. The team activities are full of fun and excitement. The team building exercises for work helps in solving a specific problem with ease and people can come across many new things and learn them in a cooperative way. Some of the games associated to team building are as follows:

Box Fort: It is a team building activity that suits the age group: 8 to 10. It requires some 15 to 50 cartons made out of cardboard as props. You will have to group the members into teams. Then blindfold all the participants and place each box near them. Now, their job is to build up a wall around them with the help of the card box. The must be able to encircle their group fully and as well as make the wall only the height of one box. Allot specific time for completing this activity. Make sure that the wall doesn’t have any kind of big gaps in it. This will help the leaders to cooperate with the team members and finish the activity on time with perfection.

Obstacle Course: In this activity, you need to create teams comprising of 2 members in each. Place an obstacle in the play ground or somewhere outdoor. A member from each team has to be blindfolded and once they are blindfolded, they cannot touch each other. Now the member who is blindfolded has to finish obstacle course with the guidance if his or her team member. Make sure that they cross the obstacle without any accidents. In this way, they can learn to build a team.

Balloon race: Separate all the members into teams and make sure that each team comprises of equal members. Place pairs of bucket with a distance of 20 feet opposite to each of the team members. Now you need to put 12 balloons (water filled) into one bucket and ask the participants to pick the balloons up with the help of their mouth. Then the participant has to drop the picked balloons into another bucket by holding it in the mouth. Now another team member does the same. Repeat this until all the balloons are finished. The team which completes dropping all the balloons at a minimum time is declared the winner.
